Hi All,
Got this email yesterday & thought I would mention it here.
I have bought some of 1LD Stacks over the years & used them on some of my old projects.

Great stacks. Bought many of his over the years. Not sure I’ll be buying anything stack related this year, even at a discount.

One Little Designer does have some excellent Stacks I’ve bought many of his over I think about 10+ years.

But I also feel like I’ve reached a tipping point this year until the Stacks App appears I’ve paused any further purchases (discounted or not).

I posted above back in July…
Though while I am not buying any stacks at this time, I was hoping to help out who might be able to use such a good deal…

I’m going in - I’m pretty much done / disgusted with waiting for the stacks app, but whatever purchase I make will be compatible with the version I already have. I really want to support 1LD - one of the few people left that creates great stacks at a reasonable price and has great support. I’ll get my money’s worth in my current RW environment. If the stars align and the Stacks app miraculously appears-and if I can stomach supporting it again, well I guess that’ll be icing on the cake.

With no timeline or release date set for the Stacks.app-- Rapidweaver & Stacks 5 is still giving everyone the best value to keep current or older projects going.

Like many, I hope to start using the completed version of Stacks.app soon.

The latest dev beta that dropped is looking good. I have started to build and test in it now. I’m excited with the Stacks App, just faster and snappier.

The latest dev build fixes publishing issues where preview mode would publish. It’s coming along. This hasn’t stopped me building with RW8 and Stacks 5. I’ve got the largest sites I’ve ever had, and with TCMS 3 no cms really will come close to what we can now build in stacks.

I get people want shiny things, it’ll come. In the mean time I’m not stopping building any projects. What we have now is still good.

It is great your latest version of the Stacks Dev is faster…

If that is version B57, I am sure that the public version of the Stack.app beta will
be out soon. That’s If it continues follows the last two release numbers, being B39 & B48 -
we can guess that the next public release should be either B58 or B59… (
It almost been five months without an update )

As for TCMS, JW been working on an upgrade since 7/2018 ( Found a post on
the subject on the RM forum ) With the public release of TCMS3 beta in
4/2024 – In 14 short months, TCMS 3 beta been updated 40 times, which is very impressive… Hoping to see TCMS3 go out of beta soon.

My point was, if the public beta of the Stack.app is not being regularly
updated. The public should keep on using what works & try not think about
a stagnating public beta.

Yes, it’s a painful process, not only for users, but also for developers.

But you can be sure we devs and Isaiah are always in discussion.

I guess the next public beta should not be far away, relatively speaking.

Thanks for your (and my ) patience.
