I’m building out a form for a website (using formsnap) and I have the option of Captcha (typing in a code - which I’m not a fan of), reCaptchaV2 (checking a box), or a manual security question (i.e. what is 5+3?).
Curious what people’s thoughts are on which is actually more effective? I find V2 the more user-friendly one but maybe a security question works better (aside from the risk of a typo)…
Hi @jabostick I started using Cloudflare’s Turnstile, finally I prefer it to Recaptcha3. A free account is enough at Cloudflare to access Turnstile. One code per site easily generated, you just have to enter the address of the site that will be protected (finally the forms) by Turnstile. It is transparent for the visitor, that’s what I was looking for. Hope that helps.
I like security questions such as, ‘What is the cube root of seven hundred and twenty-nine? Give answer in numerals,’ but there I fear that AI is probably better at answering them than some of my customers.
