Help please with migrating Foundry 2 websites to Source

Hi everyone…like many I have been left with legacy websites (yes they will work for a while…but how long is that ‘while’?)
So am reaching out to see if there is anyone prepared to help me migrate (paid of course)…and get me up to speed with the Source framework.
I am in UK…so honestly a UK based person would be the best for me.
Thank you for reading this

I can’t help you directly with migration but I swapped over to source from Foundry 3. I bought the tutorials and a theme and found that the learning curve was not too huge. The support for source is great and it was not as daunting as I imagined it. Lots of cross over with F2 and you can drag in preset columns to get up and running and see how it all adjusts and what settings to use.
I’ve now gone off on a Blocs curve ball for one of my sites but hope to come back to source if Stacks comes to fruition soon.

Hi Nigel, yes I have all the stuff, got the academy and workbook + some projects - think I am just going to have to find enough time to conquer this…
…but glad you felt the learning curve was not too bad - lets see

I can, but I’m in Australia so that’s about as upside-down as it gets…

I bought Blocs a few weeks ago and a ‘template’. Had a play about and asked a few questions on the forum and I am over half way through to getting a site refresh up and running. In the end I discard the template and went free form because that what I liked about F3 and source.

If Stacks standalone app does not appear by year end then that might be it for me. I need to start a larger site rebuild and I may as well do it in Blocs. I’m also cautious because I feel that when it does arrive everyone will have moved on and it will be a niche product and find its self not selling enough to be sustainable.

You might find someone to port things over - Source is great and along with the excellent support you may also be also be able to do it yourself.

Hi Nigel…kind of thinking along the same lines as you tbh. All my sites (just do it as a hobby for friends etc…) are pretty much in Foundry 2 which will go on for a while…but they do need refreshing and porting to something different. What…we shall see?
Am going to delve into Blocs a bit more…and Black Friday coming soon?? Lets see
