Hosting suggestions

Hi All

I am looking around for different hosting options. I presently use Omnis Hosting and I’m curious to hear what others are using. Ease of use and quality of customer service is important to me, in addition to the basics of reliability, stability, backup services, and protection.
Thanks for any suggestions !

Assuming you are in the UK, I can highly recommend Tekeez for value, support and their green hosting.

I have used them for over 12 years to host 20+ websites and can vouch for their responsiveness - plus you get to speak to a real person.

Hi @cliffhanger

Happy to answer any questions you may have. We offer free migration on annual plans of Frankfurter and higher to make the migration as easy as possible. To answer some of your other questions:

  1. We provide offsite backups to clients of files, emails, and databases. All directly accessible in your control panel
  2. We provide DDoS and intrusion protection on all servers without you having to do anything :)
  3. We provide malware scanning and security tools in your control panel so you can scan your site files
  4. We provide outgoing spam filtering to make sure our servers aren’t on any block lists (so your emails get delivered)
  5. We offer premium email servers should you need email hosting needs require it.

Happy to help and answer any further questions. We’ve been in the RapidWeaver and Stacks space for more than 15 years.

Cheers
Greg

Thanks for suggestion. Was looking at Chilling dog

Customer support is good?
thanks

Yes. Greg knows Rapidweaver and I have always had a good response to my often daft questions!

I pretty much forget about my hosting because it just ticks along doing it’s thing.

Hi Greg
I was looking at your hosting services. I am a solo mental health therapist in the US, and I have one site now with Omnis. I get some European inquiries from an international platform I joined several years ago. But I want to launch sites for Europe/UK with country-specific domain extensions.
I will occasionally need some customer support during this process.
All sound within your domain, so to speak 🙂
Thanks,
bob

Hi Bob
