Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has updated to macOS15 Sequoia and has comments on how RW 8.9.3 works with it…any issues or not?
Or RW 8.9.4?
I hope to continue with RW 8.9.3 until StacksPro is out…soon hopefully. 🤞
Cheers Scott

Hi @scottf Yes update accomplished. Everything OK with RW (I use the classic one) and Stacks 5. I just needed a shower after the update to get rid of the sweat 😰… I tested projects under Foundry 3, Foundation 6, Source of course (with poster 2): everything works fine, no alerts 👍
With Stackspro, to be honest, I have to say that I’m starting to sweat a little too… I understand that communication seems to be absent by nature but it’s a bit contradictory in the IT world where transmission and pointers are essential🤣 … other names for “communicate” right? But I don’t want to be pessimistic, I’m sure it’s for the surprise under the Christmas tree 🎄 👍
Thanks Bruno…yes, I’m the same. It can be a nerve wracking experience upgrading, waiting to see what works and what doesn’t. 😵💫
I quite often put it off until the next v15.1 drops, as sometimes a few little bugs are discovered when a new OS is out in the open and millions using it. But very good to know no issues with RW 8.9.3
Appreciate your sacrifice…😉
Yes, also hoping for StacksPro present soon.
Cheers Scott
Just an aside Rapidweaver Classic is V9…not 8
Ha yes I tested RW Classic aka V9 version. Good point 👍
Ahhh yes, I’m on 8.9.3 not classic.
Thanks for picking that up.
Wonder if anyone has tested on 8.9.3 or 8.9.4??
I have RW 8.9.4 and Sequoia installed - didn’t notice any issues with a project using Source.
I’m currently using RW 9.2.1, and I’ve noticed some improvements. It runs more smoothly in preview mode, and edit mode is slightly better on large Foundation 6 pages, although there’s still some lag in edit mode. However, with the Source framework, everything is smooth and fast in both edit and preview modes. That’s what I’ve tested so far.
Regarding the so-called “RW Classic,” I was asked to renew my subscription, which I obviously didn’t do. There haven’t been any significant updates as promised, yet they still dare to ask for a hefty subscription fee. It’s hard to understand how they don’t see this as unacceptable.
I’m genuinely excited about the release of Stacks Pro and look forward to seeing it come to fruition. That said, I do have some concerns regarding the delays in its development. I hope you don’t mind me sharing this candidly, as I believe we can speak openly in this forum.
RW 8.9.3 also runs fine on Sequoia.
