I’m sorting my Poster 2 blog so that the most recent post is at the top. However the navigation button at the bottom of the most recent post says “Next post” when it makes more sense for it to say “Previous post.” Is there a way to change this? Readers have commented that it should be reversed.
Change the text inside the stacks settings.
Can you kindly attach a screen print showing how to do this? There are myriad settings which I’m sure are second nature to those with experience but I’m a newbie.
Thanks!
It’s inside this template:
At the bottom of Poster 2 settings there is an array called ‘Texts’. When you open it, this is where you can simply type “Previous Post” where it says Next Post, and vice versa. Same thing with Previous/Next Page. I hope this helps.
This is not an elegant solution, but it works. 😉
BTW, if you want to publish your blog in a language different than English, this is where you translate Poster’s navigational controls, too.
I think it is very elegant 😅

Thank you! This fixes my problem. I appreciate your help.

I think photos in your posts could use some separation from one another.
Other than that, if that was my blog, I would not display Rapid Weaver’s advertisement at the bottom of the page.
Excellent points. I’m a beginner and just found RapidWeaver, and Poster 2 before I left on my trip. I have much to learn, and appreciate your advice.
Outstanding blog about cross-country biking, sir! I had a little trouble backing into the start of it, but your writing is excellent and very descriptive. A page turner once I got going & wanted to read more, except I’m up to July 4th, and that’s today. https://billgeorge.com
