Hi
well it’s all in the headline, how do I add php code after the closing body tag on a page?
This is not possible at this time. There are new APIs that should make this possible in Stacks 6 though.
What are you trying to accomplish that you need the PHP after the closing body tag?
phpjabbers has a script that is installed by a php code snippet “after all code” (i.e. a php include of a php file) and I assume that “after all code” is after the closing body tag.
Try to add a HTML bric at bottom of the edit area and add the PHP code there.
Hi Jannis
Are your mind set on the wrong forum now? bric and Blocs but in RW?
Is it like a Source coder stack set for HTML?
Yeah
sorry. HTML stack of course. Or Source Coder.
My free Strarter Pack has a PHP stack as well that is nice when working with PHP.
So neither Source coder stack nor Joes PHP stck ends up outside of the body, outside of main but inside some divs and the body. Will it still work?
It should, do they still give support?
Never hurts to try. I have no clue what the code does.
I’ve used PHP Jabbers code before and it just needs to be at the end before the closing body tag. I haven’t used their code in a few years but If you use Joe’s PHP stack at the very end of your page it should end up where they want it.
When I used their code I usually just published the site and then just manually went in and added their code before the closing body tag.
They give support for a price. That’s ok, they give the script away for free and then you pay for support (but support may be more expensive than buying the script, definitely more unpredictable! )
But I think I’ll give it a try. However, I’m not sure that trying never hurts ![]()
ok thanks. Then both the coder stack from source and Joe’s stack or any other html stack placed at the end will work (as janni said - thanks)
