Quick Edit for TCMS 3 lets you update content without ever leaving the page. Simply set it up on any section of your site in Stacks with your preferred TCMS authentication settings. Once published and logged in, a subtle hover edit button appears. A single click opens a focused lightbox that takes you directly to the correct collection or object, allowing you to edit instantly and continue working without navigating away.
t uses smart authentication for Admin, Groups, or Collection login and works seamlessly with any TCMS 3 website. You can also define a custom edit URL if you prefer routing users into your own forms or tailored editing interfaces. Quick Edit provides a smooth auto save and reload flow so your changes appear right away. Whenever TCMS 3 is missing a required component, Quick Edit highlights the issue visually so you always know what needs attention.
To make the workflow even faster, the new companion Quick Login stack allows you to place a small hidden button anywhere on the page for instant authentication. This gives you the ability to log in exactly where you are without opening a dashboard or control panel.
Quick Login can also be used to log out just as quickly. When you are done updating content, you can exit with a single click and return your site to its normal state just as smoothly as you entered.
