Quizzer v2 is here!

quizzer-screen-mockups

Hi all -

Delighted to announce that a massive update to our quizzing stack Quizzer is available now!!

Quizzer was the first ever stack I released (back in May 2018!). It has remained a firm favourite of mine and of the RapidWeaver / Stacks community ever since.

Since launch, our top 2 feature requests for Quizzer have been for the layout of the answers to be more modern and for the results of the quizzes to be captured somehow. Well, both of these things are now at the heart of Quizzer v2:

  • Modern layout: You can now lay out the question response options in a grid/tiled layout that looks really slick.
  • CSV export: You can now save quiz responses to CSV files on your server. One file saves a summary (completion date, score, quiz name etc) and another saves per-question responses. You can also prompt the user to provide their name / ID and that will be included too.
  • Webhook: An additional option is to send the data to a webhook endpoint. This unleashes countless possibilities as you could add the records to Google Sheets, save to a database, send an email etc etc!

These are just the main things but we have sneaked in a lot of other improvements too. Check out the release notes for full details!

Sound good? Then check it out (and see how you do in some of the demo quizzes)!!

Special launch pricing: Get 20% off for a limited time! Discount applied automatically during checkout.

Upgrade pricing: Own Quizzer v1? Get 30% off of this great new version. Make sure you download v1.4.0 as you will find an upgrade discount code there!!

If you bought Quizzer or our stack bundle in 2024 then I have (hopefully) already sent you an email to claim a free copy!

Hi Stuart, you have a demo to watch of QUIZZER v2 implemented at CHARTER, to see what can be created by combining these 2 beautiful stacks.
Because I already have QUIZZER v1 (exceptional, it does its job too well and I’m happy with it) and I honestly don’t see the need to switch to QUIZZER v2.

Thank you.

Hi - I don’t have a video but this kind of thing is definitely possible with v2. e.g. Quizzer v2 > Google Sheets (via webhook) > Create a table with summarised data > Publish a link to csv format > Add the link to Charter.

I’ll try and pull together a tutorial showing it in action when i get a chance as I need to do one to demo the webhook data transfer too.

My appointment with the optician is next week, as I cannot wait for that would you be so kind to point where I can find the upgrade discount code? 😉

Ha!

Once you have 1.4 installed there is a new section in the settings with the code:

I frequently remind fresh RW/Stacks users to restart RW after installing a new stack, because… Guess what? No wait, don’t, I’ll just go slap myself

Thanks Stuart! (Any my apology for the dumb question.)

The same thing happened to me too, I hadn’t closed and reopened the app.
Then I noticed that the version was not 1.4 😁
