Hi, @joeworkman, I just found out that one of the recent updates (I don’t know exactly which one) to your ‘Feeds’ stack broke my ‘RSS Feed’ child stack. I have a couple of dozens of them in my website and all of them stopped working. Not only they don’t display RSS channels anymore, but they also render pages they’re on – blank. They work in RW Preview, but after publication, they seem broken.
Perhaps you could check this after the weekend?
Has anybody experienced a similar situation?
Can you provide some details? How can I see it and/or replicate it?
Unfortunately it’s true, there is a problem, I have a site of a pizzeria that on its home page displayed the last 5 posts via rss (Feeds and Splider 2) of Poster 2.
With the latest update it gives me an error and makes all the stacks that are placed under Feeds disappear.
I was notified and immediately removed the Feeds stack, waiting for an update that solves the problem… I thought it would come out almost immediately since it was obvious that republishing, after the update, Feed stops working in rss.
I can’t show you the link with the problem because now the page is modified without Feeds
Like @Gianluca, I removed Feeds from my site, but I made a demo page for you, @joeworkman. I will send you the link by Private Message.
Have you updated RW to 9.4.2?
If so, downgrade via the Release Notes page.
If not, don’t - and this is something else…
No, I am still on RW 8.9.3 and I don’t intend to update any further.
Can this have to do with me switching to PHP Version 8.4.5?
Hey, @Gianluca, which version are you using?
UPDATE: No, PHP version doesn’t seem to affect Feeds in this case. I just tried to downgrade my PHP version down to 8.0 and this had no effect. I am returning back to the newest version.
The problem arose by updating Feeds and publishing the page.
so there are no variables, the problem is the latest update of Feeds
At least we came to same conclusions. Hopefully, Joe will find the solution after the weekend…
Check for updates. All fixed.

Yes, the demo page I made for you, @joeworkman, works now. Thank you for a prompt Feeds update! Now, I just have to reinstate all pages with RSS Feeds on them…
Unfortunately for me the update did not work, perhaps because I use “Feeds Preload”, “Preloaded Feeds”, “Splider 2” and “Source”.
For now I have said for my other sites not to update the pages that use Splider and Feeds, because otherwise the data is not displayed, not finding the RSS.
By not updating they work perfectly… but sooner or later they will have to be updated… I cannot delete this part in all sites.
Here I did a test (in the " Ultimi post nel Diario" part) to visualize the problem, using “Feeds Preload”, “Preloaded Feeds”, “Splider 2” and “Source”, recreating the situation (before working) of failure
The strange thing is that if I put in the “Feeds Preload” a “CSV Feed” with the RSS url that was not found previously, incredibly it works (but I don’t see the images)…
Hi, @Gianluca, sorry for my premature enthusiasm. I guess, you need to continue nagging Joe. In my case (simpler than yours), all is good now.
Maybe I need help from @habitualshaker ?
I made the projects following the source-plus_feeds-events.rw8
My project is also made with Source, but like I said, it is simpler than yours. However, I have a feeling that this issue is with Feeds, because your project used to work before the update. You could certainly try to engage Stuart, though.
Can you provide the RSS feed that you are processing?

This RSS feed worked before in Feeds?
Yes, it worked perfectly.
The last 5 posts were displayed (with a jpg, date and title in each one.
